Built To Last

BUTTON MAKER / 5,5cm

Yesterday the new button maker for 5,5cm buttons came in. We will use this for the 'Design It Yourself' button workshop. Which will be tried for the first time at Greenpeace's Rainbow Warrior Festival in Amsterdam. It is fun for the kids and we will donate €1 per sold button to Greenpeace.

RAINBOW WARRIOR FESTIVAL / Amsterdam

Greenpeace will present their new Rainbow Warrior in Amsterdam on 29 and 30th of October. To celebrate this here will be a lot of festivities, with bands, good food and organic products at the Go Green Market (in cooperation with The Sunday Market).

Eazy-Teez will be present as well. And we will for the first time do a workshop where kids can design their own buttons, making our stand more interactive and fun.

POLAROID THEME pt2 / photoshoot

Here's some more polaroids from the photoshoot at Duivelseiland. These polaroids will be used for the website to continue with last season's theme. I like the random quality of the polaroids which gives it an edge and the hues of blue perfectly fits with the coming winter.

Got the pics from the photoshoot in today (thanks Mel!), couldn't help but try a few things out and work on a polaroid effect as a theme for the fall/winter collection. Not sure which one it will be yet, if used at all.

 

PHOTOSHOOT / Amsterdam

The website is need of an update and new pictures! Today we had a photoshoot with four kids: Sija, Noah, Jordi and Halina. The kids were great and had a lot of fun thanks too to Mel, the photographer. She took some really cool pics. The results will be posted soon.

The kind people at Duivelseiland Fotografie Producties took care of the whole shoot. 

MARKT VAN MORGEN / Antwerp

September is a busy month with a lot of creative markets. We've made the trip to Antwerp (Belgium) for the first time and it was absolutely worth it. One of the best markets we've had so far, setting a new benchmark.

Despite the rainy weather and the 'average' turnout we sold a lot of our new collection shirts. It was a great day at 'Markt Van Morgen', a cool market with more cool products by local designers and a chill atmosphere.

Looking forward to be back in December for the X-mas Market.

HOME MADE MARKET / The Hague

Last sunday we were selling our shirts at the new Home Made Market just around the corner from the Eazy-Teez HQ. This was the first time we sold the new collection at a market and it was a great succes. Despite the rain people did come out to visit the market and were enthusiastic about the new shirts.

WINTER 2011 / boys

Today my nephew Noah and Matteo came to visit. A great opportunity to put them in front of the camera and make pics with the new long sleeve shirts.

NEW LONG SLEEVE / boys

And here are a few pics. for the new long sleeve shirts for boys. This seasons colours are: Royal Blue / Kelly Green / Charcoal / Red and Olive Green. 


The shirts are made of 100% organic cotton from Turkey and FairTrade made. Check the pics for extra details like the flat-lock stitching on the sleeves, extra labels and contrasting red necktape.


There will be a small photoshoot today with a few kids, expect more photo's soon.

Finally! Today the long sleeve shirts came in, there was a bit of a delay, but the shirts look great. For the coming season we have the following colours for girls: fuchsia / turquoise / heather grey / purple and olive green.


The shirts are made of 100% organic cotton. Check the pics for extra details like the flat-lock stitching, raglan sleeves, extra labels and contrasting red necktape.

BIG BLUE CUDDLE

At Bubble we met Lara who does: Big Blue Cuddle. A webstore with a special concept. 

"Big Blue Cuddle is an online store of children's clothes which provides carefully selected brands of children's clothes, a channel to sell and helping raise funds for children's charities at the same time. In between 15% and 50% of the total value of each sale (NB: not profit) is donated to the charity that the customer himself selects during check out."

Eazy-Teez will be one of the labels supporting the organisations. Check the site for more info and other cool clothes.

BACK FROM BUBBLE

Bubble in London was our first Trade Show outside of Holland. Despite it being smaller and with less visitors than at the Kleine Fabriek in January; we had a very good show. A first step in the UK has been made. I will keep you updated here, on what the developments are.

BUBBLE / Kids Trade Show London

On June 19/20th is Bubble: the Kids Trade Show in London. Eazy-Teez will attend for the first time and we're very much looking forward to this; meeting new clients and presenting our new designs. If you are going to Bubble, visit us at stand: G24D.

NEW TRANSFERS

This afternoon some of  the new transfers for the winter season 2011 designs got in. Happy as a kid, I immediately started to print them. I am quite happy how they've turned out. So here's a sneek preview.

HEY HO / Summer 2012 preview

Rafa got his first electric guitar on his birthday last April. There was only one song it could play, Blitzkrieg Bop by the Ramones, a classic and one of my all time faves. That combined with an older character and voila a new cool Eazy-Teez shirt. 

PETIT BAZAAR / kids fair for hip webstores

This last weekend, the Petit Bazaar, a fair at which 80 of Belgian hippest webstores present and sell their goods, took place at ICC in Ghent (Belgium) . Boguz was there to put itself and Eazy-Teez on the map and to present us to the Belgian public. 

At three thirty people were already cueing up in front of the ICC doors waiting to get in. Inside it all looked good and colourful, with the webstores side by side, conveniently arranged. Lay out was spacious with enough room for the moms and dads to navigate their strollers. It was crowded and a lot of people were in high spirits to find something cool for their kids.

Eventhough the Boguz stand was all the way in the back, it generated a lot of interest and it was busy every time we came by. We were happy to hear the postive reactions on the shirts and to see the smiling faces of the moms and dads when they saw the designs.

All in all the Petit Bazaar was an enormous succes and a great start for us. Besides selling a lot of Eazy-Teez shirts, Karen did sell a lot of her own handmade creations like her very cool bibs. Check the Boguz webstore for cool stuff.

GIRLS ROCK / prints & canvas and more

Girls Rock, it can't be said enough. One design, 3 differen products.

First is a Girls Rock design available on Nuzart. Because of their bigger range of possibilities I can experiment more with the design. If this is for the better? Who knows? It is fun to make this though. 

Second is a prototype for a 'Back To School' binder. Prototype is made by Romapro. 

And last but not least, Tara is rocking her Girls Rock t-shirt for the 2011 Summer Season flyer.
